It was all just a big misunderstanding. When the Gitmo prisoners complained to journalists about guards taking away their privileges. One Newsweek reporter mistakenly wrote down Koran instead of crayon. U.S. soldiers made a habit of taking away prisoner's crayons and flushing them down the toilet as punishment for coloring on the walls inside their cells.
